XY journal is a six‒monthly review published in printed and digital edition, that collects texts and images of high scientific value in English and in the author’s native language. The publication of a paper in the journal is subject to the evaluation process by two external anonymous auditors selected for specific skills (Double Blind Peer Review).

To submit a proposal you must follow the on line procedure at the corresponding OJS platform, after registering to the site, and fill in the XY_Abstract.doc template with the following data.

– Title of the essay and any subtitle

– Name (s) of the author (s)

– Summary of the essay (up to 2,000 characters including spaces)

– A meaningful image and related caption (.jpg format, 300 dpi on base 15 cm)

XY Scientific Committee evaluate the proposals based on thematic importance and meaningful clarity criteria. Then XY Editorial Staff communicates the judgment to the authors via Email and, if the proposal is accepted, the final materials are requested to be sent within the deadline.

The extended text (15,000‒30,000 characters including spaces and notes) complete with keywords (maximum three, possibly different from the words in the title), bibliography, 8‒15 images with captions and related credits (one image every 2,000 characters), the short biography (up to 1,000 characters per author) must be delivered according to the editorial templates downloadable here.

Only papers that comply with the posted on the site editorial guidelines will be accepted. The editorial review predates the scientific one as it takes into account the attention in the drafting of the texts and, therefore, it expresses a preliminary judgment (failure to comply with the editorial rules could be a reason for rejection of the proposal). Then the papers are submitted to the double blind peer review by recognized experts, who have the task of verifying the scientific contents.

The authors guarantee the ownership of the intellectual property of the paper to be published: for the mutual benefit of authors and publishers, you must complete and sign the release for publishing available on this page.
