Roberto Sanna, architect, holds a PhD cum laude and Doctor Europaeus with a thesis entitled: “Field Architecture. The farm as a new centre of landscape transformation in Sardinia” for the XXXIII cycle of the Doctorate School of the University of Cagliari, in co-direction with the Université de Toulouse. His field of research is the modification of the landscape and its design tools. He explores these issues by attending the international Master of Landscape Architecture MAP and collaborating with the Department of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture of the University of Cagliari in interdisciplinary research and teaching and tutoring activities. Author of several publications, he attends the main international conferences on architecture and landscape design. From 2015 started the project: “Curatorias, overview of an island” exploring the tool of the map as a prefiguration of the project in rural contexts.
