Massimiliano Condotta is professor of Building Technology at the Department of Architecture and Arts of the University Iuav of Venice. He holds a master’s degree in Architecture and a PhD in New Technologies and Information for the City, Territory & Environment.
He works at various academic research projects focusing on collaborative e-learning systems, on the application of IT in architectural and urban design and on sustainable building design and technologies.
He has been member of the International Terminology Working Group of the Digital Art History Access Department, Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, California and has been visiting researcher at the School of Environment, Education and Development, University of Manchester, UK.
Published more than 50 scientific publications in papers, journals and books.
He worked in relevant architectural projects regarding renovation and restoration of historical buildings and complex urban environment.
