Adriano Dessì, PhD architect, Associate Professor of Architectural Design and Landscape Architecture in the Department of Civil Engineering, Environmental and Architecture (DICAAR) of the University of Cagliari. His field of research is the study and project of the Sardinian and Mediterranean rural landscape and the relationship between city and countryside in urban design. On these topics he has received numerous awards (four awards in Europan; twice the Landscape Award of the Sardinia region) and published numerous monographs and papers for national and international scientific journals in which he participates in the scientific committees and as a referee. He is the founder and director, with G.B. Cocco, of the series ‘Territori dell’Architettura’ for Letteraventidue of Siracusa. Author of architectural, urban and landscape projects; He is a member and commission member of the scientific societies IASLA and Proarch and has already been a member of the board of directors from 2017 to 2021.
