Itzel Inti Maria Donati holds a degree in agricultural science from the University of Bologna. She is currently a Landscape and Environment PhD candidate at the Department of Architecture and Design of ‘Sapienza University of Rome’.
She carries out research activities at FAO, Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment (OCB) in the field of agricultural landscapes. She has carried out internship activities at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry in the field of management and protection of native rural landscapes. In Mexico City, he attended a master’s degree in Sustainability Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), expanding his agricultural education with notions of climate change, social exclusion, and obstacles for environmental justice. Alongside his work as an agronomist, in recent years he has taken a growing interest in the field of research, carrying out consultancy assignments for the Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics (CREA) and the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).
